GRADS teen parent program

When teen parents stay in school, families benefit

The GRADS teen parent program was developed for any pregnant or parenting high school student in Vancouver Public Schools. The objectives of the program are to help students remain in school and graduate, while delaying subsequent pregnancies and developing skills for effective parenting and future success.

What GRADS provides

CHILD CARE

Support in exploring and securing childcare options.

TRANSPORTATION

VPS bus transportation for students and their children to and from school.

SUPPORTS

Home tutoring after childbirth, case management, counseling from LifeLine Connections, and connections to community resources for things such as diapers, wipes, formula, and financial assistance.
