Vancouver Home Connection at Heights Campus has partnered with parents to provide engaging educational experiences for almost 15 years.
Grades K-6
Parent partnership
Home Connection K-6 at Heights Campus is a dynamic, classroom-based parent-partnership program tailored for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Our dedicated faculty collaborates closely with families to achieve educational excellence, delivering exceptional core academic instruction and providing access to a wealth of information, guidance, and learning resources.
At the heart of our program is the belief that parent participation is fundamental to student success. We view parents as integral members of our learning community, and their active involvement is not only encouraged but celebrated. In addition to parents supporting instruction on Tuesdays and Thursdays, parents are invited to volunteer in various capacities for at least three hours throughout the school year.
Teachers and parents form a powerful alliance to create and implement a personalized student learning plan. Our certificated teachers take the lead through direct instruction on Mondays, Wednesdays, and optional Fridays, while parents play a pivotal role in implementing the plan on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Grades 7-8
Parent partnership
Our Middle School program at Heights Campus is an alternative program tailored for seventh and eighth-grade students seeking a unique and supportive learning environment. At Heights, we prioritize academic achievement, social-emotional learning and high school preparation.
Our small-sized program fosters individual attention, and students have the opportunity to participate in the Achievement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program. Onsite attendance is mandatory at least two days a week, depending on selected courses. Successful students engage in the coursework on days they are not on-site, without live teacher instruction.
Due to the intimate size of the Home Connection High School program at Heights Campus, all students follow the same schedule. While we do not offer sports, music, or multiple world languages (except for Spanish), students can access these extracurricular activities at their neighborhood school if the schedules align.
